2010 ATACCC Conference Preview

Editor’s Note: MMT will be present at the 2010 ATACCC. The conference is a DoD scientific meeting that addresses critical advances in trauma medicine and the unique medical needs of the warfighter. This year’s conference will focus on growing and changing operational issues and the technologies available today and in the future that can be used to meet these increasingly complex goals. Some exhibitors provided an overview of the products attendees will see at their booths.

 

Hemostasis Stacked in Your Favor

New 510(k) FDA Approved Propaq MD

With its recent 510(k) FDA approval Zoll is happy to welcome the Propaq MD to its family of military products. A new ultra-lightweight compact device that combines the well-accepted and proven features of the Propaq monitors with the clinically superior therapeutic capabilities of Zoll defibrillation and non-invasive pacing. It is two pounds lighter than the current military vital signs monitor, the Propaq 206, even with defibrillation and pacing added. The system can monitor all physiological parameters, including three invasive pressures and two temperature channels, for over six hours on a single battery charge. 2010 VHA, VeHU Conference Preview

Editor’s Note: MMT will be present at the 2010 Veterans Health Administration (VHA), eHealth University (VeHU) conference in Las Vegas, August 10-12. The VeHU highlights innovations towards patient care through its numerous training sessions and provides education on the VHA Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS), Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA), and VHA clinical informatics products. The 2010 training conference offers classes, poster presentations, exhibits, networking opportunities and other events including a VA Health Information Management (VA-HIM) day and a Medical Informatics Workshop. Some of the technologies and solutions attendees will see at the conference are provided below.

RTLS Solution
